    purple tongues?

    what breeds have purple tongues?

    Chow's and Shar-pei's do

    I don't think so. My Dad's friend breeds Mal's and I don't remember ever seeing one with a purple tongue

    actually we've seen a few Lab's with purple spots on there tongues.yes they were pure bred.I know theres other breeds but i cant think of them right now

    yes, alot of breeds can have purple or black spots on their tongues. My RB Rottweiler did. I think she means like having a whole purple tongue

    Goldens can have black spots on their tongues... My Emmie does.

    i ment solid or spots. i used to have a GSD/malamute cross and she had purple spots on about half her tongue. that's why i thought mals had purple tongues cause GSD don't i know.

    Oh, Ok then In that case I think pretty much all dogs can have purple on their tongue Sorry, I just misunderstood the first time

    Mals don't have purple tongues. Occasionally they have splotches of color on their tongues but that happens in many breeds. I have an Alaskan Husky (aka mutt) with several spots on her tongue.

    Just about any breed can have spots on their tounges.
