    I received a gift

But I was NOT suppose to open it yet

It is from Jenny (PayItForward) and Steve (PaysForIt) as a thank you for caring for Sweet Annie.

It was drawn by Kim (catnapper) who DID relay the specific instructions NOT to open it until Annie was delivered to the airport!

    But who do I thank???
Jenny and Steve for the gift?
    OR
Kim for the work put into the gift?
    OR
    Both?
    OR
NEITHER because they tricked me, plotted behind my back, and are going to yell at me because I opened it early?

    OK, the story..........

Yesterday Kim walks into the adoption event with a wrapped present. For ME?? :me: And strict instructions that I am not to open it before Sweet Annie is delivered to the airport........(yeah, like I am going to wait )

I waited...........about 1 hour..... (which is why there are no pictures of the nice wrapping paper.

Here is the wonderful present from Jenny and Steve, drawn by Kim....for ME!!

    The words say:
I learned to love you first....
...And your love will follow me to my furever home and beyond. I'll never forget you.
    PURRS, Sweet Annie

    The back says

And here are the nosy ones beng a pest while I try to get a picture of the back

OMG, I'm crying!!!! That is so sweet and touching. What a perfect gift for Annie's first mom.

Kim - you did a beautiful job on it. After seeing the drawing of Tucker at Kim's yesterday and now this, I'm just in awe of your talent.

Jen, I know you will cherish that forever. Oh yeah, shame on you for not waiting until next week.

OMG, Jen, that is sooooo sweet of Jenny and Kim. They definitely both deserve your thanks (and then a smack for plotting behind your back ).

That is such a beatiful portrait of Annie and the words are enough to bring tears to anyone's eyes.

By the way, when is drop off day? Must be coming up soon.....

OH how sweet that is! I too have tears in my eyes. That is really something special. What a wonderful thank you. Now Sweet Annie will always be right there in your home, as if she never left.

What a wonderful gift, for a wonderful person.

Beautiful picture once again Catnapper! I can't blame you for opening it before you were supposed to...I would have too *grin*. That's so touching too.

Oh Jen, that is just so precious. Talk about a tear jerker.
Yes I agree that both PIF and Catnapper deserve thanks.

Also they deserve smacks for giving it to you early and teasing you not to open it early and you deserve a smack for opening it up too early.

Definite misty eyed reaction here - that is so precious. When I saw the title of your thread "I received a gift" - my first thought was cat barf in the bed.

Well now Jen's only telling half the story!

MOST people get a gift wrapped by me and claim "I don't want to open it - its too pretty!" But not Jen... nooooo... she has to dive in like a kid on her birthday!

LOL... yes I took a picture of my wrapping job (to show Jenny and Steve what their gift looked like) the flowerd stuff below is the coordinating tissue paper. Think I'm going to do a half-hearted wrap job on such a heart-filled gift?

Jen, I am so pelased you love your gift. Jenny and I have been planning it for a long time!
