    Our new addition!

    Well, we got a kitty on Monday...she's our first cat ever. We named her Persephone (per-sef-o-nee...pronounciation lol). We got her from the humane society nearby. She was the friendliest kitty there She's at least two but she's pretty small. When we went to the vet, she weighed in at 8 pounds, but the vet said she's perfectly healthy and everything. When we first got her home, she explored the whole house and (so far ) she's been a perfect angel She's very affectionate and loves to be petted...is that word? I don't even know....lol, oh well. She also likes to play peek-a-boo . The only pics I have are her pics from her petfinder.com page...I would have more, but my camera is being stupid and doesn't want to work right now Anyway, I present to you...Miss Persephone!     Awww...she's beautiful! And I love her name! I'm glad you told us how to pronounce it though.

    I, too, would like to say thanks for adopting an adult kitty. As you will see, she will bring you every bit as much pleasure as a kitten would. Can't wait for more pics!

    Thanks for adopting an adult kitty - sometimes they get lost in the shuffle when it comes to finding a home because there are so many little cute kittens. She looks like she'll be a wonderful companion!
