    Our new fence...tons of pics

My husband has been building a new fence for me--to keep the wolves out this winter. It covers a little over three acres. The only part of our property that is not fenced now is the small section that leads directly to my sled trail. Everything else is fences. We still need to build a couple permanent gates, but we have temporary ones up now. Also next week he is going to section off another area for Kayleigh so we don't have to worry about the other dogs running too close to her.

Pacer is in almost all of these pics. I've never seen him quite as thrilled as he was today when he realized he was free to run.

Pacer when he first realized he wasn't on the tie-out. (usually when the dogs want out of the house they go on a trolley tie-out or back to their pen)

    Pacer running like a lunatic

This is the farthest back piece of the fence. It joins on to the main dog run. The green chainlink is my cat's enclosure. We had to use posts back here instead of the trees--which required hiring a tractor to dig through the rock and permafrost.

One of the temp gates. This one leads to the main pen and the unfenced portion of the property.

This is the west side of our property.

Chum & Pacer playing chase. This area will one day be a pond for them. Maybe next summer's project.

Pacer and Muskwa in the same spot. I only let Muskwa out for about 10 minutes, then he had to go back inside. He's still sore, but the pills work so well that he forgets.

Chum & Pacer coming to see what I was doing--I was checking the bottom for gaps.

    One happy Pacer

This is the part that runs along the driveway. The gate is a bit of a PITA, but it's totally worth it!
This gate will be replaced soon with a much sturdier one that is easier to open and close.

    Chum running across the driveway.

This fence is the greatest thing ever. At one point today I had eight dogs loose in the yard with me while I was doing chores. It was great. It's like my own private dog park!

    My husband rocks!!!

The dogs look so happy! Your husband is a good guy to do that. I've helped with putting a fence in and that's hard work. But it looks so worth it!

I was one who couldn't see the pics yesterday, thanks for bumping this up Glacier I might have forgotten! They look so very thrilled and happy, especially Pacer. I swear he looks like he is in doggie heaven just running and running . Your hubby did a wonderful job on the fence, that looks like quite a chore!

Great pictures of some VERY happy doggies. Your part of the
country is gorgeous. Perfect place for all the dogs to be both
    active & safe.
