My hubby found a brand new Cellphone, an alcatel with a camera a few months ago, it had only probably been used for a few hours, as there is no phone history, all with simcard and money on it, we handed it into the Police Station, they keep it for two months and if no-one claims it, we get it., so yesterday Hubby got the letter and we picked it up, worth $299.00, so we will offer it to our son when he gets back, otherwise we can sell it cheaper as it has no charger, and pay for new tyres on the car, isn't it nice when something like this happens.

It does pay to be honest. Some of the police departments have programs where people can donate their old cellphones to battered women's shelters. They in turn give them to battered women to use only in case of emergencies, at which time they dial 911 and get help. It's a great program that I have supported. If you have any old cellphones (if this brand new one doesn't get claimed) you'd want to donate.

Donna what a great idea, I don't think we have that here though, my hubby gets phones all the time and rebuilds them, we all have phones that he re-build, we found out we have to buy a new sims card and battery for the new phone, which is around 80 dollars all up, so we might just sell it cheap and use it for new tyres on the car, we will give Scott the choice, he has already got a good phone., but he might like the camera function on it, he would probably rather spend his money on Cricket Gear.

And Yes Lynne I am very excited, only THREE DAYS to go and Scott will be here with us again.
