    Tubby Does Still Help

I mentioned that Tubby used to sit on the sink in the morning and help me get ready, and how he doesn't do that anymore because he can't get up on the sink. Well, just so you don't think that just because he can't get on the sink anymore he doesn't help anymore, I took these pics.

Every morning, as soon as he hears the blow dryer, he comes on in and expects his morning skritchies, which he gets while I'm drying my hair upside down. But he doesn't leave when I turn upright again. Oooohhh no, he has to stay and help me finish.

And view when I'm done and ready to get dressed.

Then we both head to the bedroom to get dressed.

I don't know mom, that blouse doesn't really go with those pants, do you think?

    That's much better.

Now give me one last skritchie and then leave me alone so I can take a nap, ok mom?

No problem Tubby, here you go .
(anybody notice the "bundle foot" in the last pic?)

What I see are some back nails in serious need of clipping

But they are attached to a handome fellow.

Great photos! Give Tubby a skritch for me!!
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers

I know Jen! I've never clipped them in his entire life, so I'm a bit afraid to start now, but they really are starting to get long. I was thinking about buying a clippers and getting them done soon (hopefully this weekend).

I actually think them looking so long has something to do with his arthritis though because sometimes they don't look so long, and other times they're like this. So I think it's how he has his back legs positioned. But they still need clipping....

I am happy to see that Tubby is still doing his part around the house! I don't clip my cat's nails either, but they don't ever seem to get to long. I used to clip Raven's when she was a young devilish kitten, but she doesn't get into much anymore.

    Thank you Wolfie!

    Maybe he would walk better....

His nails do look awfully long! I would try to clip them, one at a time...little by little. I bet he would appreciate it in the long run.

Nice photos! Sorry to have focused in on the nail part!

He does look like he is trying to help. Quality time with MOM?

I'm afraid to clip my guy's nails too. That's why Mike does it, lol!!
