Favorite "Previous" Cat Of The Day

I was wondering if anyone has ever felt a
special connection with the picture/story of
a "Previous" honoree of Cat Of The Day!!
I Love everyone of them; but sometimes
there's one special kitty that really "grabs"
your heart.I have several in mind,but one
that comes to mind is RUSTY (COTD) for
January 20,2000.I always thought he was so
Special and sometimes wonder how he's doing
now...Does anyone else ever wonder about past
COTD'S ,or have a special favorite one??

Since I didn't discover Pet Talk until about a year ago, I hadn't seen Rusty, so I had to take a look. OMG! No wonder you can't forget him!

I remember Morrie from June 24th, 2001. He was an orange tabby who was very special. Sandra (tatsxxx) captured him so well in her post to him; he was soooo many things, friend, healer, protector,teacher etc.... He helped a new shy kitten adjust to a new home, he was there when people were sad, he helped a little boy who had learning diabilities have confidence and he showed this little boy love. He is very special to his family. I will always remember his story - check it out, its a tear jerker

Cougar Wechsler beat me to it- I imediatly thought of Morrie too! I go back and read about him every so often when I need a boost. If you don't know about Morrie, check him out: June 24, 2001. There are a couple of others that I really remember, but I'll post them later- running late for dinner already!

Ok, I am back again. I have to say that the COTD for today, Fiver-Roo(Sept. 23, 2001) will never be forgotten. I can not get her picture out of my head. Fiver-Roo, may you rest in peace, and know nothing but Love and kindness.

Thanks Cougie & yorkster for pointing out
Morrie!!!I try to check in everyday just to
check out all the pics & stories;but somehow
did not see Morrie.If I had seen him, I would have NEVER forgotten that Sweet Baby Boy!!
I like to go back & revisit the older pics/
stories every once in a while..Thanks for
pointing out Morrie's picture& story again!!

Does anyone remember Dakoda from June 10, 2001? That was one of my favorite stories- it was sweet & so FUNNY! Dakoda is a beautiful cat who also happens to be quite a character! Maybe that could be another catagory for Spencer's list.
