Few pics of Tommy/Tasha

A couple of these I took the other day but most are from today. I went out with the pups and they found a baby grackle that apparently came out of its nest a bit too soon. The parents were up in the trees fussing and watching the chick though so I just told the dogs to leave it and tried not to disturb it, as I think its best chance is if we just leave it alone and allow the parents to keep caring for it.

I got a couple pics of him, one Tasha decided to get another whiff before I told her to leave him again.

Poppy, I saw the parents fussing in the tree right above where the chick was but they wouldn't come down with me and the dogs out. I took us all inside after a few minutes, but it was chilly today here so I don't know how the chick will fare.. I still think its best chance was for the parents to care for it if they could. There was brush and stuff on the ground from when David trimmed up the trees that it could shelter in, it didn't seem quite able to fly.

I hope the little guy makes it, even though David gets really fed up with all the grackles around here (they poop all over EVERYTHING and dive bomb him when he's working out in the yard).

What gorgeous pics, Jess! Beautiful yard, beautiful pups! I love the last few of T&T...what a precious pair! And the one of Tasha and the birdie Amazing! What camera do you use? The colors are so rich and the pics so clear! Tommy, you crack me up with that log! Love to the 2 cuties!

Thank you Sandra . My camera is a Sony Cybershot (digital). I've seen quite a few people on here who really seem to dislike Sony but this camera I just love and I think it does a wonderful job. It's so easy to just point and click and get beautiful pictures. Perhaps the newer Sony cameras are better now than they used to be? I think this one is 2-3 years old now. I also really like to take pictures on overcast days because colors seem so vibrant then.

I will have to get updated garden pics up sometime soonish too
