    How weird,
I watched "Dances with Wolves" AGAIN over the weekend, and went searching for information on the Sioux tribe

    Sioux tribe Link

    And some info on language

Well, I don't have much information. My grandfather was Cherokee. My mom grew up on a Navajo reservation, which according to her wasn't a good thing. My grandfather is now deceased. I wish that I could remember his stories more. My grandmother is a hag, so I won't get any good stories out of her. Anyways, here are a few family pics...

An aunt (I believe great great Aunt to me...)

    My grandpa and grandmother...

    My grandfather with his parents...

My grandfather with my mom, aunts and uncles (my mom is the one in the white coat on the left...)

    Thank you Wolfie!

I have Choctaw in me from my mother's side.

All I know is that one of my Great Great *not sure how many total* Grandfather came over from Ireland and married a Choctaw.

I wish I knew how they met and more about them.

You all are welcome. It's a site that's written & maintained
by a Native American. It gives the real history that was never
covered in our ( USA) history books.

I enjoy the language instruction & philosophy of the Native
    people.
