When we came home tonight, Hobo wasn't weightbearing on his back right leg! Earlier this week, it was his front right leg. That infection appears to be responding to the antibiotics and he's using the leg again. But now he won't put his back leg down. Through everything this little guy has been though in the last month, I've never heard him yelp in pain. When he tried to lay on his bed tonight, he screamed his head off! I called my vet and we're off to the clinic in the morning.
Hobo is settled on his bed now. I gave him a painkiller and his other pills. He seems comfortable enough, but he's sure not moving much. One of the wounds on his leg has re-opened. I sure hope this is just a pain response to that and not something more serious. I don't think either of us can take much more!
