Dolphin Slaughter (not for the fainthearted)

Dolphins were being killed in a painful manner, and in massive numbers, off the coast of Japan. A conservation organisation called Sea Shepherd has been maintaining a boat there 24 hours per day, drawing the attention of the world to this massacre.

On their web site they have a few ways you can help:

1. by making a donation (I have just signed up for a 1-year international membership)

2. BY SENDING AN EMAIL TO THE PRIME-MINISTER OF JAPAN. There are links on the page which will direct your email to the correct person. PLEASE take a few seconds to send an email - it costs NOTHING, and maybe if the Japanese government realises that the world is outraged, they will put a stop to it.

If you dont have time, please just cut and paste the following:

Dear Sir,

I am disgusted that your government stands by and allows the inhumane slaughter of these precious animals. You may not know this, but Dolphins are "Self Aware" - this means that when these fishermen murder the Dolphins and their families, the Dolphins are AWARE of what is being done to them.

To stand by and do nothing whilst this inhumane killing takes place under your nose is an absolute OUTRAGE.

I appeal to you to uphold the honor which these beautiful creatures deserve, and STOP THE KILLING.

It's not just dolphins that are slaughtered, I beleive this year they didn't kill any dolphins, but they kill tons of pilot whales. I think they only killed pilot whales this year.
