    Cubby putting me to sleep!

Last night while I was trying to go to bed, every night Cubby puts me to sleep. Last night started out to be no differant. He curls up next to me unless I lay on my back then he will lay on my chest. Well last night I was laying on my back, so he did lay on my chest for a while. Then he decided he was not done getting some lovings. After he was tired of laying on my chest he got up for a minute and went and layed right next to my side, with his head proped up on my chest. As he fell asleep there. Of course he started to snore and he woke him self up from it. After that he decided he was done for a while. I turned over to the other side of the bed, and he came up again and wanted to be cuddled again (that is so not like him to want to be cuddled 3 times at night).

Earlier that night he was very very mad at me he wouldn't look at me, talk to me, let me pet him nothing. I had to give him his pill and I thought he was done with me for the night. Instead he became very loving, I think he was trying to tell me not to give it to him anymore.

    Put to sleep?

Oh! The title of the posting worried me a lot. So glad it was a happy story. Kuhio used to sleep on my pillow all night. My 2 new kitties prefer to sleep by themselves (away from me and away from each other). I do so miss kitty snuggles at night.
Ask your vet about microchipping. ~ It could have saved Kuhio's life.

I thought you had a question about putting cats to sleep, but instead it was a lovely story about your sweet Cubby. Are you giving him 1/2 of his pill like Jen had suggested? If so, that would explain why he's cuddly when he's normally not. Hopefully this will be the happy medium for him.

Not yet, I am getting a pill splitter from my mother in law tonight so they will be cut perfectly. I think he was just trying to beg me not to pill him anymore. I gladly excepted the lovings he gave me, but he still needs his pills. Maybe he will give me as much lovings as he did everynight from here on out.

Sorry about the title. I called it what it was last night. I didn't relize what it said until I read it after it was posted.

actually I giggled at the title because it said Cubby is putting ME to sleep, the exact opposite of what we might normally read. So I some how knew it was going to be a good thread.

I love those that love to snuggle at night.

I did change the topic. It did read 'Being put to sleep' I did change it to the new title. I read what it use to say then I read what everyone else said about it. So I figured I should change it before to many people think I was putting my baby to sleep.
