    After the San Diego Fire

    Here is a photo I took 2 days ago . It is
    near a Wal Mart in east county.

    It's sad to see the landscape so barren after the fire, but i'm sure it won't take long for the new blades of grass to pop through. (We used to have huge veld-fires (wild fires) in South Africa, and it was always so nice to see the new grass coming through after the destruction.

    That's so sad. I have some phone company pictures of down there too. It's unbelievable. I'll try to get them on monday or tuesday.

    Oh, Sandy, I know this has to be so depressing to see. As I told Jackie a while back, things will be green again, come spring. It is amazing what Mother Nature can do, good and bad, but you know that things will revive. It will take many years to get it all back, but it will come back. Just wish those houses could come back too. Sara, that picture is so very sad. I hope your friends are ok.
