My kitty Ash thinks he is a guard dog......

My daughter and her best friend decided to sell freshly squeezed lemon juice drinks outside our gate to make some pocket money, actually it went well, they made a few dollars, got lots of toots and waves and smiles, and some thirsty customers, (was a nice hot day in NZ , summer is on its way YAH)

Now my old Ash is a bit of a loner puss, likes his own company, most of the time, but he was out the gate under the tree with the girls, I swear he was keeping an eye on them, making sure they were ok.

I guess this might sound silly to some, but it is not the first time he has done this, when they are out on their scooters up and down the path, who should be there hanging around watching, my ole Ash, hopefully he would scratch anyone's eye's out who attempted to hurt my girl.

Maybe its just wishful thinking, but I reckon he is my guard dog in disguise.
