How some people dress and act

Well, I went to the Pet Store to shop for the Gift Swap, and there were some cockatiels (in a fairly small cage ) so I stopped to look at them. There was this girl there, and she was around 15, and her pants were pulled down really low, and then she pulled up a thong! I tried to be nice to her, and I told her that I had a tiel named Nelly. She looked at me, and then looked away. I told her that I loved cockatiels, and that I also had four dogs, and she looked at me, rolled her eyes, and bent over to feed the budgies. Then she looked at me rolled her eyes once more, and walked away! A guy was working there too, standing next to her, and he had heard the whole thing, but he just kinda looked at me and nodded his head, and he also walked away... oh also about the girl, her shirt was really short too... I couldn't believe it!

It disgusts me how some people dress. The superlow pant fad is so uncool. It doesn't flatter hardly anyone's bodies, and I am so sick of practically looking at crack. I agree!!!

I have to disagree a little with Tonya, there are some very cute girls with cute figures who do look nice in the low cut jeans, however I reckon they do look incredibly sexy, and maybe its not a great image to put across.

But Fashion will be Fashion, and the young ones will wear it no matter what, we just have to grin and bear it, or be incredibly jealous that we no longer can wear it sob!!!

However back to the main article on the thread, this young girl's complete lack of manner's, sad to see, but yes there are many just like her out there, but hopefully the kind one's make up for her attitude, that is what it all boils down to HAVING ATTITUDE, in her case A BAD ONE.

I think girls *all girls* in such clothing look absolutely disgusting, no matter what they're size/figure. I can't even bear to look at the girls who dress overly improperly. It makes me gag. Yuck!

Dogz, that girl's attitude from the way you describe seems downright rude! Either she was shy *doubt it* or really proud and arrogant.

The attitude was rotten, I see no excuse for it. But clothes are a matter of taste. It may not be your taste, but why do you let it bother you. I don't understand why we care so much about what other people wear, don't wear, how they wear their hair, etc. Wear what you like and what you feel comfortable in. Others should do the same. We should all learn to be less interested in silly things like this.
I am an adult, I can choose to wear whatever I like. I enjoy low rise jeans and think they look pretty cool. But, I'm an adult, not a child, so I suppose that makes it my business.

She does sound like she was really rude. And, some girls do look good like that but also a little sleazy. And I really don't think a 15yr old should be allowed to dress like that. We can thank people like Christina Aguilara for that.

Welcome to my world!! I have to deal with those clothes and those attitudes everyday at school. Unfortunately, most of the time the attitude goes along with that style of dress.

maybe all of us who are pushing 50 (both years and pounds overweight) - need to start wearing these same fashions. It should have people running for cover in no time and we'll see normal looking clothes once again.

I think it's disgusting when girls let their UNDERwear stick out.

    HELLO! UNDER, not outwear.

At my school, it' like a fashion statement to have your thong showing. I for one, would NEVER do that! Lol.

I DO, however, like to wear low cut jeans, and I do wear midriff tops; But I don't go parading around, and I don't act like total snob.
    I've been BOO'd!

Sorry this made me laugh! GREAT point!

2kitties- Yes, I understand what you are saying, but I don't think that 15 yr. old girls should dress like that. That it just my opinion though.

I was watching Dr Phil today, whilst over at mum's,it was about mother's having difficulty with their young daughter's, wanting to dress in sexy clothes.

Dr Phil said exactly what I was thinking, you are the parent's , you buy the clothes and you allow them to wear them.

One very pretty girl who was only 11 (same age as my girl) horrified me, the makeup on her eye's was so thick, she wore tarty clothe's and yep the thong, of course it was purple, the short's were white and you could see the top of it, I was digusted to think any parent would let an 11yr old dress that way.

The thing was she had this gorgeous baby innocent face, she even looked younger than my daughter , even though she wasn't.

WHAT IN H*** is wrong with these parent's, these kids are a phaedophiles (sp) dream.

Then off the subject a bit, but there were young girl's with their own websites, the pics were so sexy, oh and the mother said it has done her so much good , built her self esteem etc, I mean PLEASE!!!!!

BTW PCB I respect your opinion, but I would like to ask you, as I believe you are a young person, what you like to dress in and think is cool?

School's should have a dress code, I am apalled to hear girl's in America can wear these kinda clothes to school.

Hey Carole, there were plenty of girls in Wellington schools that dressed like that too. Certainly not just an American thing.
