    Neighbors lend a hand

Since my husband and I have moved to our new home, we have been having trouble with our neighbors. They like to ride 4 wheelers at night...they dump stuff on our land...one even tried to run over Dixie Belle. We have just about given up! And then....

I work night shift, so I don't get home until about 1 a.m. I don't get to sleep until around 3. At seven in the morning my Daddy calls....Justin (my 10 year old Gold. Ret., who lives with my parents) is MISSING!!! So in the trunk my husband and I jump. We found no sign of him at all! My dad came home from work, just to look for him. No luck. Dad went back to work. I went back before I had to go to work, and I still could not find him!:frown: This is very unsual behavior for Justin, normally he sits around the house, and plays with my sister's dog, Bandit. Or the both of them go running in the woods together. But Bandit was home, and Justin was Gone! Well, I finally went to work. Around 5 p.m. my husband goes back over to my parents, and Justin was still no where to be found! I'm calling at every break I get, and was worried sick. Finally, at eight o'clock that night, I call and my mom told me that Justin was back home. The dog had been at a neighbor's house ALL DAY LONG, playing with their dogs! And they just let him stay! When they decided that he had enough fun, they loaded him in their truck, and drove him back home!

So that restores my hope that maybe there are still some good neighbors out there!!
(If only they lived a little closer to me...)

My pets are usually pleased with what I do, because they are not inflected with the concept of what I SHOULD be doing. My time is owned by: Missie,Thor, and Trinity!

I'm so glad sweet Justin is home, safe and sound! Thank goodness for your parents' kind neighbors.

So glad to hear Justin is safe and sound at home! I'd be soooooo worried and scared if I lost ANY ONE of my dogs!
