OMG! He gave me quite a scare this morning. Mishi has gotten into the habit of carrying his mousies around the house with him, bringing them to bed and giving them baths. I know ... very cute! He was doing this this morning and I wanted to get some pics for y'all. I kept checking on him to see if I could get a cute pic and walked into the bedroom to see him with the mousie hanging from his mouth, looking extremely cute. Then I realized it wasn't cute, he was in trouble -- the mousie's tail was stuck down his throat!He had been giving it a very thorough cleaning, and was licking the tail (it's quite long) and the tail went down his throat and got stuck. He was desperately gulping and trying to get it to come up. Poor baby. I gently extracted the dangling mousie from his mouth - the tail was completely soaked - and he just kept gulping and looking at me with his big green eyes. Poor baby! He would have choked if I hadn't been around to rescue him! Now I'm going to have to hide the mousies when I go out. Be forewarned! I don't want any of our cats to choke on their mousie tails! Ah Kids!
