    Killian, Bandit, check in time!

Killian, we're hoping that you're feeling well, sweetheart. Please check in when you can. Or, if you and Shiloh are extra busy, please ask your Mom to do it for you. And please tell Mom that we'd like a Bandit update too. A lot to ask, I know. But, you've got a lot of friends who love you and worry about you! Hugs and slurpy licks from Sandra, Cutie Cody and Star***Shine!

Ohhhhh, Aunt Sandra, thank you for asking!!

Killian here. I am takin A LOT of medicine now since my last big episode!! I take:
    Prednisone,
    Lactulose,
    SAMe,
    Milk Thistle,
    Salmon Oil,
    Vitamin E,
    Senior Vitamins and
    Amoxicillin (pace dose).
Mom stuffs some of them in braunschweiger and some she throws in the food. Mom says because of the Pred, I eat REAL good now. What a difference from goin not hungry to starving! Mom says something like the quantity of life MAY be affected by the Pred, but the quality of life sure has improved. Except for that horrible last episode when I was walkin into walls and chairs and fallin over, I feel pretty good again.

Shiloh has Mom a bit worried. She huffs and puffs a lot and breathes kinda fast. Sose we have the air conditioner turned up for Shiloh. She lays on the vents. Sometimes her ears turn bright red, too. She sure acts fine, tho. She still steals my toys and tries to get me to play, which I do for a little bit, sometimes. I think that Mom is just paranoid.

Bandit just went to the special white coat again on Monday. He is going every two weeks now. The dr. found fluid building up again and he is watching to see if it will go down with a big amount of diuretics. Bandit takes 24 pills a day: Rutin (16 pills) and diuretics (8). He takes his meds straight with a goodie chaser. He's a brave guy. If the fluid doesn't go down, then it's tube time again. As soon as the fluid is gone, then the dr. will do a radiograph to see if the cancer is doin anything more. But the leaking capillaries are where the cancer is, so we don't know what to think. GranMom can't go anywhere much anymore because Bandit can't be left alone for very long. He would get stressed by not being able to go out and potty (which he does a lot cause of the diuretics), so she stays home with him. sigh. He has his good days and sometimes some bad days (mopey and won't eat). GranMom says he is such a loving dog, though.

Thank you for asking about us!! I hope Star and Cody and the rest of your clan are doing well!!

    Love to all you PetTalkers!!

Thank you SO much Killi for taking the time to check in!! Reading your positive update had us ALL smiling from ear to ear!! Wow, that's quite a list of meds you've got to take But, as your Mom says, as long as they help you to stay healthy and well, what's a few pills down the hatch; especially when it's followed up with a 'zweiger chaser!! And Killi, if you see Bandit, please tell him we're thinking of him and hoping and praying that he can avoid having his chest drained He is very, very loved, isn't he?? Just like you and Shiloh! And speaking of Shiloh, tell your sweet sister to enjoy the AC and not to exert herself; except of course to steal your toys We love you Killian! Keep up the good work! Love, hugs, slupry licks and Labbie butt wiggles from Aunt Sandra, Cutie Cody and Star***Shine!!

Killie dear, thanks for the news. It's so good to know you are feeling well and that the pills are helping you. Please let us know how Bandit is doing the next time you are allowed to type a message. Love to you and your sister.
