    Meet My New Furkid Sky!!!

    Hi everyone. As many of you already know, I adopted another cat yesterday. I was at a cat show and the Humane Society was there and they had about 6 cats up for adoption. I think they did well because 3 cats got adopted.

    Here's Sky's story. He came to the Humane Society as a stray and was later adopted out. His new family returned him because one of the cats began spraying. They didn't know which one so they returned Herman now Sky. In his records they call him a Point Lynx and White Domestic Long Hair. His fur was so badly matted that they had to shave most of it off. His tail is still quite fluffy though. They also think that he's about 2 years old and he weighs about 10lbs. He has a short stocky body and is very loving, friendly, and playful. I think he looks like a big kitten.

    I hope you like the pics. BTW he was also the favorite of all of the cat show people and they were so happy to see him getting adopted. I sure hope that everything works out. He's such a love bug.

    Thats exactly what I was thinking - he looks like a big kitten! He's so beautiful! I can't wait to see what he looks like with long hair. After his "quarantine" period, you'll have to post pics of him with his new brothers!

    How lovely you are Sky. My Rutherford was a shaved down bald eagle when I adopted him and look at him now. You will be in your full glory VERY soon. You must be something pretty special to convince Ms. "3 is my limit" into taking you home. And we all here at pet talk have benefited from your good luck. Welcome to the family.
