    Rocky's eyes

Something is going on with them...I don't really know how to explain it exactly but he doesn't seem to be in any pain or seem to be uncomfortable either, but what it is is the lower part of the inside of his eye is showing more than usual...it is always when he is more sleepy,,,as soon as he opens his eyes up you would think he was blind or something..it is like a light bluish color too..do any of you know what I am talking about? why is he doing this ya think? should I take him in or is it just something that will go away on it's own?

Are you talking about the 3rd eyelid? Usually when it's showing that means the cat is not well or maybe stressed. It can be a first sign that something needs to be looked at. Is Rocky eating and peeing and pooping OK?? Output is just as important as input, I always say. How is his energy level??

sounds like a trip to the vet may be in order. Or call them first and explain and see what the vet says.

I called and talked to the vet and she said it usually just means they are feeling a little under the weather...since Rockys eyes aren't doing it constantly, she doesn't see any need in seeing him just yet...she asked if any of it looked inflamed in the area and it doesn't so, she she said sometimes it just does that even if they are feeling a little down....she said cats can get depressed so I am wondering if that is the case..I don't know why he would be, but I will make sure and give him extra scritches and lovins today..
