    Not Good!!

A dog we know, is walking funny, Her back legs are kinda like bowed out and she waddles, she rather over weight. We're not sure if its because shes overweight or because she was outside for most of the winter, but this just started three days ago, and its been warm the last three days, plus her dog house is extremely warm and insulated in the winter.

How well do you know her? How old is she? Is she overweight, or pregnant? If you are concerned, why not ask her owners?

Then you need to talk to them. Don't tell them they are stupid, they just don't know. Ask perhaps if you could take her for a walk every day, if she need more exercise. What breed is she? Some breeds are prone to hip displaysia, and being overweight can exacerbate it. If you are worried about her, talk to the owners! Tell them what you've noticed, and express your concern. It cannot hurt.

She is a Rottweiler, I know that I shouldnt have called them stupid, Ive tried and tried to explain, they feed her junk food and wonder why shes fat? Its really thier sons dog and he wants to sell it, but they wont let him. Ive tried to explain to them but, I'm having no luck.

You may also tell them to check with their vet about a disease that does affect large breed dogs, Dobies and Rotties do get it alot Its called Wobbler's sydrome. I lost my female sarah (rottie) to it. And a friend of mine her dog (dobie) has it.
