Our house is changing colours!! The work is finished!!!

Our house is with a redish brickstone. But because after 10 years it still has lots of white coming out of the stones, we have decided to have it painted!!
    This is how was

And this is how it looks after 1 layer of paint; not everything is painted yet, so that's why a part is still red. That brown is tape, it will be removed as soon as all the painting is done!!

I've seen your gardens, but I don't recall EVER seeing your house before. How lovely!

The paint job is really nice, too. Stunning effect!

That is exciting! I like the new look.

I am doing some painting this spring and summer as well. I have a gray cape cod style home with maroon shutters. I am going to have the shutters, my front door and my side Bilco door painted. I am looking at a deep plum color.

I love seeing before and after shots of renovations.

Beautiful! I love your house, and the white paint gives it a great new clean look!

Very nice I would say. I am sure the house would look lovely after everything's done. It looks so neat and tidy where the painting has been done.

I really love your house Lut. I think the painted brick look is nice, and I love the color you selected. I have always loved your landscaping. I wish I could get landscape type of plants to live in our soil. The only things that will live in my soil are native plants and a few varieties of azaleas. We jokingly tell our friend, that if they need any plants killed, let us plant it. I know in Belgium the soil is real sandy which makes planting easier. We have about a foot of very acid topsoil then it is solid clay underneath.

It sound like you are describing our house with the color of the house and shutters. My wife repainted our front door last year, yes it was a deep plum.

    Beautiful, indeed. Well done!

Your house was beautiful before the paint job but now it looks absolutely wonderful. Your painters did a fabulous job. Looking forward to seeing pictures when the project is completed.
How did the Gabriels Girls take to all that activity?

-Zazou & Snoopy who never go outside, were a bit shy at first, but now they are watching the painters all day!! Someone has to supervise hey
    - Inka Poor thing is not allowed to go out too now because the 2 gates that are always closed, are wide open now!! If she would get to the front, she would not find her way back and get lost!! She is our CH-cat!!

-And Maya ??is not happy with this because we cannot open the door through which she always goes into the garden....... She is upstairs now, from where she can view it all, together with Zazou
