I have been transplanting plants in the last few days and came across this new species! I had carrots in the pot, that's a long story, took them out then put some dill seedlings into the empty pot and this morning I saw they were overrun by this new growth.
I need to know what it is.
I think I have a green thumb, but this is a totally different color!

Richard, it is a type of orange plant, you do get those in Catlifornia!

Funny story.....
I went out to feed the cats and this one jumped out of no where....it wasn't until I realized that it was asleep inside a terra cotta planter that was on the table, outside.
I have tried to fix them a spot to sleep in, but they like the off-the-wall spots.
