I once had a home but life has been tough lately. I was dumped by my owners last Christmas week behind a restaurant in Akron, Ohio. One of my friends, Blue Eyes, was there, too, but he now is living the good life w/a loving couple in Columbus. The restaurant owner puts out food but there are feral cats there who don't like a new outsider. I had a very tough winter; I lived under an old tarp behind the restaurant. I was cold and hungry, lost weight and guess what else? I had babies and they all need homes, too.
My beautiful long, black fur became so matted that I had to be shaved in spots. Last month I walked into a Have-a-Heart trap and was rescued along with some of the other cats. I've been given a clean bill of health by my rescue Dad's vet after I was spayed and I'm doing great now, playing and eating as much as I want. I even have some cat toys and a brush for my long fur.
Now comes the hard part: I must find a loving, permanent home. I am less than a year old and I'm up to date on all my shots. I'm ready and willing to be a loving companion for the right person. I love to play and be brushed. Are you the person who will give me a second chance?
