Okay, so who's attending a book release party for Breaking Dawn?

My sister and I will be heading to the local B&N Friday night.

I just recently got my mom hooked on Twilight but she's only part way through New Moon. She insists she'll be joining us though we've told her there will be spoilers for Eclipse. She said she didn't care! *laughs* It's a family of Twilighters.

Hopefully the dress she's putting together will be done in time. My hair is now black in preperation (Alice book canon).

I'll be sure to take pictures.

I just bought my daughter the first book in that series for our trip to Hawaii. Her friend and her friends mom are hooked, I will read it after my daughter.

I haven't even checked to see about book party releases at B&N, it totally slipped my mind, lol!

I'm waiting for my shipment from Amazon. I preordered it back in March or so, and I just want it to actually BE HERE on the 2nd. Not sure if it will if I'll have to wait. I'm so impatient!

I wanted to go to a midnight release party but I am leaving tomorrow morning at 5 am and will be on the road until probably mid-day on the second. My parents promised we'd stop at a book store though.

Here come the books!

I was the first one with book in hand. I held it up and the line behind me went freaking nuts. The girl next to me mimicked the gesture and crowd continued to go wild.

Oh so lovely...

Then my "wolf puppies" began to vie for my affections.

Such a fun night. We ended up going to Schuler Books because they had all this stuff planned, (costume contest, scavenger hunt, trivia, quizzes, a DJ, & food & drink) where as B&N were only giving away a basket of goodies prior to the book release.

I went to the one at Barnes & Noble with a bunch of friends. We went to panera bread then over to B&N at around 8, then stayed till like 12:30.

I don't read the books, but i'm going to start soon lol. My friends are all obessesed though, so I might as well read it considering they talk about it so much lol. I did get a breaking dawn book though, but it is for my best friend. She wanted me to get her a copy, since she couldn't go.

Thanks! Yeah, Linn prefers it that length. Mom calls Linn her 'psuedo-son'. LOL!

I still haven't received my book! I've inquired about it, but haven't gotten a response. I'm not a happy camper at the moment!! I want to just go out and buy it, but if it will get here within a few days, I don't want to spend more money.. ya know?!

ARGH. So not patient!!!
