Growing to be a GREAT pet owner

Cameron is growing so fast these days in so many ways. Right now I'm trying to teach him how to take care of the pets. Every morning we get up and feed the kitties.... and he helps me scoop their litter. He has his very own scooper and tells me "I help Grandmom!"

Then we take Callie for a walk. When we're back, he insists on giving her fresh water with ice (Ok, he holds the bowl while I do the rest ) and he scoops out the right amount of kibble for her.

Then we feed the fish. Yesterday I came home from work and noticed that he felt the Betta he named Woof Woof was hungry because I found cat food floating on top of the water Woof Woof seemed quite content and was swimming around like nothing was different. Fear not, he has all new water already

Below is a video of a training session. I don't know who has whom trained here

PS: Callie HATED this video while I downloaded it and compressed it. She barked and braked and barked at the computer

PPS: Don't mind Cameron's fresh bed head. It was taken first thing in the morning before Callie's walk.

That is good that people like you are teaching the next generation (Younger than me, ) how to care for things besides ourselves.

I love how he goes "uh,uh" when the cat won't take the treat!
