Tikeyas going in for Surgery... :(

Tikeya has a growth on her front left leg. Its a bit smaller then a golfball. She is going to the white coats on Monday or Tuesday to get it removed.. It just noticed it about 2 weeks ago, and its grown a little since then. Poor girl. Pray that its not canerious.. She also is getting her teeth cleaned while shes under..

    I'll update after the surgery.

Jenny had the same thing on her front foot and it wasn't cancerous. it was heck to keep her from chewing the stitches though she did that 3 times and had to be resewed. I hope Tikeya's isn't cancer, too! prayers for a safe surgery and a speedy recovery! (((Tikeya)))

LOTS of prayers & sibe vibes for Tikeya. Star had a small mass on her paw removed & her teeth cleaned at the same time, too, last year. It's hard not to worry, I know you'll feel better when it's over & she's back home.

I hope she'll be ok. Good vibes coming your way. Try not to worry but I know it's hard. Dasher just had one removed and it was benign. And I wish I'd thought to get his teeth cleaned, too.

Well I finally was able to get ahold of the vet today. I made an appointment for Wednesday at 11 am. I hope all goes well. They only do surgeries on Mondasy and Tuedays at my vet, so I will have to wait till next week to get everything done. It's kinda relieving to know that a few other members had a mass removed and it went fine.. It really makes me feel better about it.. I just wish she didn't have to go under..I always worrie so much about her.
