Puppies escape their house of filth

Here we go again. This is a story that has been in my local news the last two days. Ten poodle mixes (puppies and adults) were found wandering the street in filthy condition. The picture here does not begin to show what has been shown on TV. In an effort to find out where they came from, a search was started. They, along with cats, ferrets, etc. were all found living in the home of an 81 year old man. His daughter visited him daily. How could she not stop this? Some of the TV videos showed the dogs getting baths and shaved down. They were shivering and scared, but it is felt they should all be able to be placed.

The second link provides quite a few photos.

All I can say is, thank goodness those animals are getting help now.

Thanks for posting this, Pam. I hadn't heard anything about it. I just went to the shelter's website, and they have some pictures of them all cleaned up. I am sure they will get lots of applications. Poor babies.

Although they can't actually be placed until next week, all 10 of these pups have found new homes.

I cannot fathom how anyone could live in that or know someone was living in that and not do something. Shame on his daughter.

So happy the animals have been saved.

Phred thank you for that link! I saw them being bathed and clipped on TV but it is nice to see the little cuties all groomed and ready for their new homes. I am glad this had such a happy ending.

    OMG!
    How sad...
I'm so happy to hear they all have homes waiting for them!
How on EARTH could the daughter let her father live like that and not put a stop to the harm he was doing to all of those animals.
