    Two females fighting!!

Ok please i really need advice on what to do with this 1 cat!!! I have 6 cats 5 females 1 male. Do any of the people here have that 1 special cat who licks you, sleeps with you, follow you, when you call them they come running??? Well one of my females is like that I picked her up from the streets when she was exactly 1 month. Now she is 1yr old. THis cat loves me to death. It came to a point that i play and show love to all my other cats and she really gets jealous. So there happens to be that there's these two little female cats i have that try to show me the love she shows me but My jealous cat dont let them. When the two baby cats come to me and try to sleep with me, she will chase them and smack them, and follow them around the house. WHY is that?? is that really jealousy??? How do i stop it?? i want all of them to get along.. So can i please hear some advice on what to do??? she does not like any of my cats coming near me. She is very agressive too only two of my cats, and those 2 cats are the 1's that happened to be that love me the way she does... and she is a sweetheart to humans..

My RB Peeka was that way and I never was able to change her behavior but it eventually stopped as she got older. The next time she exhibits that behavior, sternly say "NO!" but don't yell. That at least stopped it for me for the time being but it was a constant battle. Perhaps others on PT will have better advice for you. Good luck.
    Blessings,
    Mary

My Tuxedo Boy, Reggie, is very loving and loyal, and often like a magnet to me, but not ALL the time. And it hasn't come to the point where he gets jealous when I give attention to my other kitties. You should be flattered, sounds like you have a really loving and awesome cat there! But at the same time, you should be able to love your other kitties w/o her getting in the way. My advice for you is what Medusa said, say "NO!" firmly and a little louder than your usual voice when she starts fighting with the others. And does she dislike water? If so, you could spray a tiny bit on her everytime she misbehaves. Sounds like she really loves you though. That is wonderful. But it isn't wonderful that she harasses the other kitties.
    Hope this Helps.

    visual barriers sometimes help

You might consider giving them attention in a closed room or out of site. We have also put up visual barriers (pillows, paper bags, cardboard) what they don’t see sometimes doesn’t bother them. Good luck.

Use a squirt bottle whenever she goes after the others. Say "NO!!!!" very firmly. She'll get the idea. You can also put a couple of pennies in a soda can and shake it real loud saying no firmly.

I have 5 cats, 1 male and 4 females and they all get along fine. I think if I tried to take in anymore, there would be problems.
