    Sydney has a lump

Syd has a small hard lump on her front leg. The vet looked at it last week and didn't think it looked cancerous, but he said it would be best to have it removed. It seems to be bothering her too, she licks the area often. She's having it removed tomorrow morning, so I hope everything will go well. I'll update when she gets home.

Hi Syd, it's me, Sugar. I had a lump removed last Friday. Wasn't too bad, but I do NOT like going to the white coats. I have a 3.5 inch line of stitches and still waiting to hear from the lab what my lump is.

Just catch up on your rest and you will do OK. I have to take a syringe of liquid pain killer stuff in my mouth twice per day, so maybe you will get something like that too. The hardest part for me is not eating. I am a small dog and going 12 hours with no food before and then all day with no food the day of really got me down. I couldn't WAIT for the canned stuff mom offered me when I got home. I only get canned stuff when Mom feels guilty, so I made sure to stretch it out for a few days giving her the sad eyes look.

I bet you get treated well once you get home, too!

Wishing you all the best, Syd!

    From me, Sugar

Well Sydney lucked out today. I had noticed the lump getting smaller (originally it was slightly larger than a pencil eraser, yesterday it was about half that size)...but this morning its so tiny that I had a hard time even finding it. My mom took her to the vet anyway but he said it was too small to operate on and to not worry about it. Thanks for thinking of her!

    Amy,
Misty has couple of lumps on her head the rest come & goes. This is very natural for Miniature Schnauzers, my sister's MS has tons of them and sometimes they break out *GROSS*

Here's a site you can read about em if they're bleeding or have broke then you should take her to the vet other wise I'd leave them alone!! I call them brains rofl
