    Poor Kishii :( *Good Update*

Hey everyone, I know I haven't been around as much the past little while and I hate to come back with bad news, but ...my parents would like me to find a home for Kishii

We have alot of pets in the house, and I can understand why they would like to get rid of another fur filled one, but it is truly sad that it has to be Kishii. They love our cats, but Kishii has been shedding soooo much fur, and it doesn't seem to stop no matter how much I brush her. And I am at work alot and doing other things that she doesn't get out of her cage as much as she should too. I'm not sure what to do, I will in no way give her to a shelter, and most all people around here do not want a rabbit, specially one that is already a year old this month. I know a pet store that would take her but I'm not sure if that would be a good place to give her to or not.

Maybe some of you have some ideas as to what I could do or any good animal places that I could put ads up for where someone would like a one year old bunny.

I just don't know what to do, I'm just sad that it has to be Kishii

    Kalei,

I'm so sorry! I know how upset you must be. First it was Queen and now Kishii!!! I feel so bad for ya

Maybe put an add in the paper and if someone calls that you might consider letting adopt Kishii then you might could go to their house/home and see where Kishii would be living?
We had to find a home for our great dane several months back and we finally found someone that wanted one, (someone that my mom's friend knew) so we went to their house to make sure it was suitable for Gracie.
Most people will understand if you want to do that for your animal's sake.

I wouldn't give her to a shelter either--too many getting pts...that would be too big of a risk for her!

Do you have any friends/family that would like a rabbit? I'm sorry but I already have one and can't get another and I don't know anyone that would want one! My grandmother's niece's daughter's daughter (whew LOL) has been wanting a bunny for awhile, but we're in AL. and I think we're VERY far from you!!!

Good Luck on finding her a home I know you'll make sure she goes to a good loving family.

No, not beautiful kishii! Cant you work out something with your parents? The only shed like that about twice a year. If my parents made me give up one of my babies i would leave. My animals are a part of me. You must be feeling like they are tearing your heart out. I wish i could help. Do you have a friend in the area that would look after it so you can visit? Aww this is just awful news.

Aw, Kalei, I'm so sorry. I know you must be tearing yourself up right now. I also know you'll do what's best for her, and if you think she'll benefit from being with another family, then I will support whatever you decide. I'm just sorry that I can't help you further in a time like this.

Thanks so much for your kind words guys...in a way it would be a benefit to Kishii and me in the long run if she could find another very loving home. Not because I don't love her, I most certainly do, and she is such a great rabbit. But in a year or less I may be going away from home to school and if I do that then Kishii couldn't come with me and she wouldn't get looked after as good left at home without me. And of course just the plain reason that my parents want one less animal in the house, and since Kishii is the one that is in the cage and not the easiest to take care of, they would like it to be her.

Also as I said I have a hard time makeing time for her because of work. My life is just so busy, its starting to get hard to fit time in for Kishii to get out of her cage. The fish and the cats are good, because the cats are out of cages and even when I'm not home, they are happy and getting lovins from the rest of my family, but Kishii is really just sitting in her cage. Last night I let her out and she had a good time running around I guess I will see what happens, I put an ad up and said that I would give her to an approved home only, so hopefully someone very knowledgable will want her.

I'll keep you all posted, once again thanks for caring so much, it means alot to me and Kishii.

Well I got good news...my sister seen my ad on Kijiji and she replied to it saying that she would help with Kishii and even buy her supplies and that she doesn't want to see Kishii leave because she lives here and this is a great home for her...so that means I won't have to give her up! If my sister can let her out well I'm at work and give her attention and some brushings then my parents wouldn't care if we keep her...this is good news for Kishii and me.

So I took down the ad

That's wonderful news. I known how hard it is to rehome a beloved pet and hated to hear you had to rehome Kishii. That's just great news that Kishii gets to stay with you.

I'm so glad I could help. I didn't know that you were gonna give up Kishii until today.

Right now I have her litter and stuff in my room, so she is hopping around and enjoying her time out. At first I think she was a little weary of being in a new place with a new human, but she started to come around after a little while.

And I did a good brushdown on her, but I'm pretty sure there is still a good amount of loose fur on her.
