Sugar is going in to the vet's office early Friday morning for a lumpectomy. Like many bichons, she has plenty of "old lady warts." But this lump, on her front just below the neck, blew up fast from nowhere. We had it aspirated last week, and under the microscope the cells are dividing rapidly.![]()
It is in an awkward place, an e-collar won't work as it will sit right on the site. So they will use a loose bandage and I have to watch that she doesn't itch it.Dad has already said that will be MY job!
I think they will be using general anesthesia, not a local. That makes me nervous, she is 10 years. They will send it to the lab to get more info as to what it is.
I should know how she is doing by about 2 PM.
