Cool Can your dog do a back flip?

Today I came home from school and I saw my dog ginger.
She look so cute so I gave her a treat!
I told her to sit and than jump and out of no where she dose a back flip!
    I couldn't believe it.
I did the same route and she did it again!
Has any one heard something like this?

I see circus dogs do this.
You should get a video of it.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

Mine consider back flips as rolling over to get belly rubs

Ginger sounds adorable have we seen pics? or did I just miss them?

I doubt either of my dogs could. They are both to big to try it.

same here. I saw a border collie that was adopted from a shelter on the Ellen Degeneres show yesterday do backflips while catching a frisbee in the air.

Tango does that all the time while playing frisbee. She's the only dog I've had so far that can though.

Rebel does them all the time while catching his frisbee.... Riley on the other hand, does not. She likes to keep her feet planted to the ground most of the time and only reaches out and leaps to catch the frisbee...

I've only known one dog that did back flips. It was my friend's dog and was a bc mix.

Re: Can your dog do a backflip?

King, a GSD couldn't, or never did. He wasn't even much of a jumper, except to pounce up for affection. He looked so awkward when i finally taught him sit pretty. He couldn't do it with out a bit of support though. I don't think he could have done a back flip even if he tried.

Miss Koli Husky though has done it twice while in foster care. Once long time ago when chasing a bumble bee. (I forgot about that until i ran across the post about it two nights ago. Then she did it again a few days ago, but i forget what she was doing.

Please, if your dog is arthritic look into getting it Elk Velvet Antler. Look up my posts on it, PM me, or look it up on a search engine; but please if you love your dog and want it to live many more years consider this option. I've seen so many posts on here about dogs needlessly suffering. I can't make a new post about EVA every time so this plea is going here. EVA also helps with other ailments such as anemia.
