I've had a look through our pics to see if I could find a better one, but this is the only one we have with Fister's mum on. She was a real tough lady, once she chased a huge dog - who was after another cat, out of the yard.She didn't care much for human beings, but she was a great mum to Fister! He was one, out of two, in her third litter!
The picture was taken before Fister came up to live with us, I think. Wish you could see the video's we've got!

Great picture. Both cats are beautiful. It's great that you knew his mom. I wish that I could have seen the parents of my three cats.

Fister must have been about one year old in that picture, it was about the time when he started coming up to us in the flat.
Fru Plet (Mrs. Spot in english) has unfortunately gone to the RB. She got very sick last year just before Easter and had to be put down. She couldn't even eat a shrimp the last few days.But she was a brave lady and took SO good care of Fister and his sister.

Lut! No, we have no idea who Fister's father is - but Fru Plet had another litter of 5 black kittens and I'm sure the father was a stray we saw occacionally in the backyard. We actually saw the conception!

OK, don't laugh...but while Noah accompanied me in the bathroomI was telling him all about what his mommy looked like (in case he forgot...)....and....she looked just like Fister's mommy! I was telling Noah how strange it was that his mommy had Noel colors and look how he came out! Oh goodness...don't tell my husband!
Anyway, Fister, your mommy is such a cutie....not that I'm surprised! You are just the most georgous thing!

I have two older pictures with Juni's mum - Naomi. I have to scan them and put them in Juni's web album http://photos.yahoo.com/vcasian . Sometimes, we tease Juni that she wanted to hide the thing that she is half black by her mother (she is the sand color with black stripes), but her "palms" are black, so she cannot really deny it.
