    Feeding the Hungry! Ferals!

Today while going to the pet shop I noticed ALOT of pigeons so when I came back I decided to feed them all because they looked so cute and puffy!

As soon as they saw me it was like the monkeys fly from ''The Wizard Of OZ'' lol, they all just flew towards me (Must mean im not the only one that feeds them on the cold days of fall) It felt so happy feeding there hungry little tummies, I belive we should always feed pigeons when it startes to get cold.

Well here are the photo's, as you can see it was a pile up!

    Here they come!!!! ahhhhhhhh....!!!!

The rock dove grabes it's prey with it's very strong beak, that piece of bread never had a chance against a hole flock of them, they always work in groups.

    ''Dig in guys!''

    ''Move over feather brain!''

    Pile up ''woot woot!!''

''Let's play tage put your beak in!!! not foot Christina pfftt coo coo roo humans will they ever learn.

I've always wished there were places around here in which there were flocks of pigeons to feed.. it looks so neat.

FABULOUS pictures! I love how they all flock in a circle around the food.

I like pigeons as well. My great grandfather was a famous breeder and he "invented" the Birmingham Roller. So I have a soft spot for these birds...and very much birds in general.

I always put extra food out when it gets cooler too. I know we don't have snow like most people here, but the rain and cold can effect CA birdies too!

Quite nice colouration on that lot of birds. Usually the few pigeons we get around here are flyaways from racers. I don't know how people could hate these birds. I'd encourage them to live at my place just so I could watch them all day.
