    Dominic at 5 weeks

Hard to believe my new grandson is 5 weeks old already! I went down this weekend and spent a few days. Here are a few pictures I took. You can see how big he is getting.

    And look at him smile

    And a few of Jasmine

I bought her a new Tony Stewart outfit. When she looked at it, she surprised both Christy and me by saying in her own gibberish - Tony tewart or something like that - and ran off to get her hat that she got when we went to the Richard Petti Driving experience in May. Christy was surprised she even remembered the hat

She's having a tough time deciding whether she wants to be a big girl or a baby. We went out to play and she got into Dominic's stroller and wanted me to take her for a walk.

Phred, don't think I haven't thought about it - in fact I went and stayed for a week, came home on a Friday and did bring Jasmine home with me. However, due to her mother's tantrums (just kidding) we took her back on Sunday. Since she lived here so long last winter while Brian was at school to become a recruiter she thinks of this as her home too and is very comfortable here especially since she has her own room here!

And that new baby - well, if Christy wasn't nursing..... But then again I bet he would adapt to a bottle real quick.

Mugsy - both kids look like mine as babies and Jasmine continues to look like Amy and Christy both. I haven't decided if it will be a good or bad thing if Dominic continues to look like Rob. I miss Rob so much but life does go on.

Diana, those little sweetie-pies are adorable!!! I can't get over how big Jasmine is - she's a real doll! (not that she wasn't before ) Dominic is a cute little guy - bet he'll grow up far faster than you'd like. Hope Christy is feeling full of energy!

Oh Diana, somehow I missed that the baby had come!!!!! I guess it must have happened when Scott and I were in NY City. He is simply adorable.

And Jasmine, honey you are too cute for words!!!!!! I'm in love with both of them, Diana.

I know you miss Rob, terribly. I'm sure he is a guardian angel for these precious children and for all of you.

Logan, Dominic was born July 22nd weighing 8 lb. 15 oz. Christy is guessing he is about 12 lbs. now. And yes he is one big boy!

Amy started the orginal thread. It is here!

Jasmine is 2 and 1/2. And yes she does have a personality. She is so fun to be with. Loves to pretend, can be very silly but still loves to cuddle. And what a memory - she doesn't forget anything. Since we did that Richard Petti experience with Amy and she (Jasmine) had worn a different Tony Stewart shirt and hat to it, she kept talking about going to Michigan in Memaw's car with Ah ah (Aunt Amy). When I said I had to go home on Sunday cause Papaw missed me she said Ah ah did too.

She has also decided that Jack and Taggert are PaPaws dogs and Snoopy, Pippi and Dazzi are mine. Not really sure why she decided that.

When we are not with her,we miss her alot but it does take a LOT of energy to keep up with her.

Wow, Dominic sure is getting big. I love his smile. Jasmine, of course,
is as cute as ever. It's so good they live close enough for you to get to go
visiting often. A real sweet family.
