Tigger and Nuria pics (lizard and calf)

The stupid petsmart keeps being out of crickets and now they were out of meal worms so we gave her a bit of cat food we keep on hand for this situation. My mom fed her and I took pics

    Digesting

And here's Nuria (aka Norma) in her new halter I went with blue because Royal Blue is the color of polo we've all ordered to wear at the fair

Here I've posed her nice the way she will have to in the fair but she's on flat ground, that's why her back isn't strait. (People pose dairy cattle uphill usually)

    She's about 8 months old.

    "ooh, what's that?"

    picture here..

Tigger is so handsome! I love his colors. Do you know is Leopard geckos will eat cat food? Is it good for them? Nuria has gotten so big! Last time I saw her she was as big as a large dog, and now she is sooo big! When we move I'm getting a cow.

Wow, Tigger is such a cute skink! I wish they didn't have to eat bugs, I'd love to have a lizard... well, I could deal with worms, but I have a weird fear of crickets.
Nuria is so beautiful! I've always thought Dairy cows were so pretty, and she is no exception! And her new halter looks lovely.

Chilli, I have the fear of crickets, too! LOL. I can deal with the worms, but for some reason the crickets just scar me and gross me out.

Cat food is really just a substitute. Oh, and if you didn't know, Tigger is a Schneider's Skink. Nuria wasn't quite that small but she has grown! exactly one week till we take her to the fair! And good thing she's not a beef cow or that'd be the end. I'm going to do beef next summer. I have like 3 things planned for next year, including taking Nuria back as a yearling.

I love Tigger's colors! They're like soft, but vibrant pastel colors. He reminds me of the anoles at my zoo =P Goodness, Eva, how many animals do you have now? I sooo envy you.

Thanks guys, Sophie, I have 4, plus my sister has a gerbil. Oslo the bun, Niņo, Tigger, and the new addition for the summer is Nuria. In the fall she has to be sold back to the dairy farm she was bred at but if she gets pregnant next year I can bring her back to the farm and keep her there again and take her to the fair, then in the fall she'd go back and have her calf. Oh and just so everyone knows, 4-H is a great organization for getting animals when your parents are too strict to let you have more otherwise. I first joined to get a rabbit, I knew if he lived here at home I could convince them to let him stay if I payed for his upkeep.

Oh I know, I can't believe it's been a month since I've had her! Oh and too bad 4-h is only in the USA! Maybe we can make you honorary Lancashire member of the Glenview Clovers.

You are so lucky! Aside from dogs, cows are my second favorite animal.
I love the halter, it looks really good on her.

I just went to a family reunion this past sat (forgot my camera) at a dairy farm. I got to play with & pet about 45 calves. They are so adorable!

    Tiggers adorable as well!
Soar high & free my sweet fur angels. I love you Nanook & Raustyk... forever & ever.
