Formula One fans are snapping up candles that smell of a pit lane.
The candles give off a scent of oil and burning rubber.
They are being sold for £8 each from a US firm's internet site reports The Sun.

Speaking of burning rubber, you just reminded me that I used to sometimes have a Cup-a-Soup for lunch. You know the sort of thing? Sachet of dried lumps that you mix with boiling water. Absolutely disgusting, but handy for lunch and very low in calories. When the third person in a week told me they could smell burning rubber round my desk, I stopped eating them!

The smell of gasline has always given me a headache, since early childhood when my Dad helped a friend run a gas station (a secondary job for Dad, so just part time). I like cars, attended races as a kid ...

... and, as a child of my father's, know more about cars than most "girls," and even a lot of guys.
But the smell of burning rubber does not appeal to me.
