A betta for my friend!

Yay! Today is my friend's birthday and she has been wanting a fish for some time now. Her parents are ok with it and so I suggested to pay shipping for one of luvgold's guys, but she wants to pick one out at Petsmart. I just wanted to post this because we will be kind of sharing the fish, even though he'll be at her house, and I have been trying to get a betta for 8 months now.
I think we'll go sunday and I'll post pictures.

Another Betta addict

I definitely recommend trying to find a reputable, clean aquarium/fish store rather than Petsmart, if you can. They generally have much younger, healthier fish in larger containers... Atleast compared to my local Petco!

I will definatley try to convince her, but there are no good fish stores in the area, the only tropical fish store shut down. We might go to a place a few towns over, it is a small pet store, they have two branches, but they sell puppies so I really didn't want to go there. They have nice veils and crowns.
