    Grant Update....

An update on this thread here. We purchased a crate for the boy and what a breeze it has been for us and him. He goes in it, I put some treats in there for him so he goes in on a good note, without a problem. He sleeps in there through the night without a hitch. He sratched and whined the first 2 nights but I think because he was lonely. We think he might have been crate trained before we got him. It's been too easy. He goes in there when I can't watch him, if I go in the shower, or I let him enjoy himself outside. I am going to buy him a new collar for training as he is starting to pull when we go for our walks. I am slowly trying to re-establish my leader status as he thinks he runs the place now. Just thought ya'll might want to know how proud I am of him. And his 2nd birthday is coming up so I'll get him some treats and toys to celebrate.

That is good news! I think Grant will be glad to give up the lead position, it sure does take a lot of weight off his shoulders so he can do doggie stuff. He is lucky he found a home that was so willing to work with him (and he has cute little sisters too ).
