    Aaaaggggghhhhh....seeds!

I just opened the bottom of the stove and there were black "seeds" in it. The cats have been hanging around the stove lately. You know what those "seeds" are, don't you? Mice droppings!!!!! Help me!!!!!!!!!!!

eeewwwwwwwwwww is right. Luckily, my cats will go after the mice (and the dog will too). I've had mice issues before but I've never seen their "seeds" and I've especially never seen them in the drawer of the stove. Double yuck! Now I have to wash that drawer and all of the pots and pans. I'm just afraid they'll pop out and jump on me. A mouse jumped on my sister-in-law once and crawled up her arm under her nightgown. I would freak if that happened to me!!

I feel sorry for you having 'seeds' in your oven.

Mice don't freak me out, i have a pet rat so no animal scares me!!! If i saw one i would catch it in a box and release it into the wild Mice reproduce quickly though so i'd have to catch a lot!!!

Funny you should say that. I've actually held a pet rat and it didn't freak me out. I've had Hamsters as pets and they don't freak me out. But it's the fact that mice move so fast and for some reason their tails freak me out. I guess I'm just weird.

Richard, I wonder if I plant the "seeds", I'll have mice growing in the Spring? Heeheehee.

Pull the drawer for couple days and don't feed the cats. Thats the cry around my moms farm actually she borrows our old guy (16) he's the mouser, Mom can't have cats in the house for long any more ( allergys from a med she takes)
I would be kicking butt and taking names if I found a mouse (alive) in my house. Two perfectly good hunters that have had to become house kitties becouse of the location of our new place.
Good luck removing the seed makers. Please don't plant seeds we really don't need more of those areound.

My Grandma's the same. She used to be scared of all rodents, but since we've had Foxy, she can stand holding her, and she can also stroke my rat Tia Maria. But she cannot even think about mice without shivering.

I think it depends on what you've been taught as you've grown up. I've been around pets all of my life (yes, ever since the first minute i was born !) and my mum kept mice as a child, so i've never had a problem with any of them. I don't have a problem with snakes, spiders or any creepy crawlies either. In fact, i help release the baby spiders in my garden when they are trying to break out of their little egg sac!!! Weird, i know, but i think that baby spiders are sweet!!!!

That's the same place our little "visitor" made his home. They really like those warm places. I found "seeds" down there too. Too bad Caleb got him before I could.
