    They are all so cute, but I kinda like the Berkshire myself, are there any siamese rats ? I know you can get siamese mice and they are ever so cute, have not seen them down under though only in books.

    Yes, you can get siamese rats. One of my rats, Tobias, is a seal-point siamese.

    Himalayans and siamese are different -- himis are born completely white and develop their points later, and their bodies remain a clean white -- siamese rats are born with their points and their bodies may turn beige.

    I had no idea there was that many rat colors!!! I said topaz cuz I really like that color on animals!

    Oh there are more colours than those!!! There's about 30-ish diffent rat colours not as many as mice though, they have about 300!

    more about himis- they have albinism (REW) but also color. color is restricted to the points (Nose, ears, tail, feet) and everywhere else has no pigment at all, like the area where a horse has been freezebranded. They have red eyes because the blood vessels show right through, I thought that was the COOLEST thing ever, that is why I wanted a himi rabbit (and I got him!!) The fur is bright white. My avatar is wrong, I think they just made it cream so you could see it on a white background. It sometimes really bothers me that it is that wrong color (I LOVE the crystal clean sparkly white of Oslo) but the animation is so cute that I end up just keeping it on there
