24 puppies?

My dad caught the end of a story on the news,that a dog gave birth to 24 puppies Thats a new world record!!But ony 20 of them survived,i asked him what kind they were,but he said he didnt catch the name,but they were wrinkly,and were like a chocolate brown colour?First thing that came to my mind was like a Neo Mastiff,i dont think a small dog could give birth to 24 pups! Im looking for the story right now
