    Now it's Dusty's turn

My Dusty is scheduled to go in on Monday to have a lump from his head surgically removed. It has been there for a couple months and keeps on growing. At first the vet said not to worry about it since it was probably just a cyst. But now that it continues to grow they want to remove it to determine just exactly what it is.

I think part of this has to do with family history. Dusty and Dixie go to the same vet as Jazz and Blaze do. Knowing what has just happened to Jazz, they do not want to take any chances. And neither do I.

I'll just have a bald headed guy running around for awhile until his hair grows back in. I'm praying it is nothing serious. Here is a couple of recent pictures of my big baby boy. Remember he is not even 10 months old yet and already weighs in at 73 pounds! I think he is just absolutely loveable and a total joy in my life!

    Handsome Dusty!

    Poor Dusty and you!!!
But it's good that they take action immediately and that it's taken care of. It's always good to be on the safe side, especially after what happened to Aunt Jazz. We'll keep you and Dusty in our thoughts and keep all available paws, fingers and toes crossed for Monday.

He's truly a handsome guy, so pretty and a real boy. Can't get enough of his pictures, he just makes me smile.

    Dixie,
Do you remember the old McDonald's commercial (I'm showing my age here ) "You deserve a break today" Well, I think you deserve a break! So much worry over Dixie, then Aunt Jazz and now your precious Dusty. And he is precious; love the new pictures!
We will say a prayer that your big, lovable boy will get a good report. I'm just so glad you're going to find out, for once and for all, exactly what is the problem. Good luck to both of you.

If there is one thing Dusty is, it's huggable. I call him my CUDDLE PUP. He loves to snuggle and cuddle. And his fur is soooo soft that I find myself lost in giving him hugs.

Oh dear. Candy, I remember you posting about the lump a while back. You have been through so much these past several days. I so admire your courage and strength. Although it must be hard for you right now to face another uncertainty, you are doing the best thing for Dusty, and yourself!! (Peace of mind, that is!) We here, Sandra, Star and Cody, will be keeping you in our prayers, with paws crossed, until we hear the good news! And Dusty, you are SO handsome! What a beautiful, strapping young boy! Love and hugs to you both!

    Re: Now it's Dusty's turn

    Hi Dusty,

    This is Pepper.
I had a big ol lump on my back.
After the vet removed the lump,
I looked like a furry Frankenstien with my hair being
    shaved and those stitches.
The vet said my lump was a big fatty cist .

I'll be thinking about you on Monday, so be brave.

    Hugs Pepper

    Dear Dusty,

Paws and fingers are crossed for you here, buddy. Take care and don't worry too much about those white coats. Sometimes a four-footer really needs 'em.

Hope you get crunchies when you get back from the white coats!
