    Bruges, the Venice of the North

    My most favorite city in the whole world is Bruges. It's atmosphere always overwhelms me completely. It is only a 45 minutes drive from here, so we go regularly.
    As today is our wedding anniversary ( http://petoftheday.com/talk/showthre...threadid=86431) , and yesterday was very sunny, we decided to go walking in Bruges. Indra was home too, so she joined us

    Your pictures are lovely, Lut. What a beautiful place. On the 2 or three occasions I have been in Brussels, I have never had enough time to go to Bruges. People always say it is beautiful for a visit.

    aha, here they are! I posted into your happy anniversary thread and bet that you would have pictures!

    those awesome photos! geez, you and your family must be the happiest one.. I've never seen any couples that would take kids with them on their anniversary.. how nice!

    but one question..why didn't you take maya & inka?!

    I got happy to see swam! haven't seen one around here for a long, long time. but if I do, not that close!! many tame swans there, huh? then bruges's on my travel list!!
