    Finn's Maine lobster

Hey, everyone. My parents got back from their Maine trip early this morning. I was asleep. I woke up a little before noon (I was up til after 3), and, my mom gave me some treats they'd gotten for me in Maine, and, also gave me a toy for Finn. It was a squeaky red lobster from Maine. It no longer squeaks, and, is mutilated. It only took him about five or six minutes to quiet the squeaker. It was a riotous six minutes though. Oh, man, I wish I could have gotten a video with sound. I'm hoping one day to have a camera that will record with sound and hoping to learn how to post videos. I'll buy him a squeaky toy just so y'all can hear what a spaz he is. He had my parents cracking up. He was happy to see them. So, was I. Anyway, I'll post some pictures here in a few minutes.

Poor lobster! He came all the way from Maine just to be dismembered in a few short minutes. And unlike a stuffed toy, it's not like he can have surgery and a new life! Oh well, at least he gave Finn a great 6 minutes of glee! Thanks for sharing the pictures with us!

Be glad you've only got one Finn! A friend of mine had two Wheaten Terriers - the longest a squeaky toy ever lasted was no longer than 30 seconds in their house - he timed them!

Poor lobster! Looks like Finn had a lot of fun with it. That was so cute. Finn sure is getting to be very handsome. I love that first pic where he's waiting for it.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

I know, I like that one a lot, too! I didn't bother trying to fix his eyes, but, it's still a great one.

I know, but, honestly sometimes I wish I had another lab! But, if I do that, it'll have to be awhile. I'm lucky to have my parents helping me, that's for sure. But, one day, I'll be posting about a new addition.

What a funny series of pictures! At least Finn really ENJOYED his present! I love the one where the lobster has it's claw around his muzzle - looks like the lobster tried to fight back!

Now, how many squeaky toys does Finn get? Does he try to break his record every time he gets one?
