While I was driving down a rural country road, my "kitten radar" heard Jack's cries over the car noise and I stopped to find him laying in the middle of the road. He was still wet from birth with the birthing sack still around him. His mother just dropped him out and left him, as with the rest of the litter a neighbor found dead. I took him home, hiding him in my pocket as I tried to sneek past my husband...because he was my 5th rescue kitten I was bringing home. I heard him say, oh no what do you have? Nothing to worry about I answered back!
That was the start of hourly feedings, enemas, and a great pleasure to my life! Jack has been my baby since then, and I wouldnt know what to do without him!
The top picture is Jack the day he opened his eyes, and the bottom is Jack at the birdcage being naughty!
