    Raven & Deuce

Raven has decided that Deuce can stay. He's her new best friend.

So much for posing for a nice picture. They can't be within two feet of each other without starting to play!

    A little husky wrestling!

Deuce isn't stupid. Raven likes her boys submissive and he always lets her win the wrestling matches!

"I love him, Mom! Can I keep him?"

Yesterday I was cleaning out doghouses, pulling out all the straw from the winter and putting in the summer bedding. Deuce went inside his house every time I pulled out a bit of straw!

"why are you putting all my straw on the ground, lady?"

Mr. Aloof has decided he likes me after all. He's now Mr. Cling-on. He made raking and cleaning their pen rather difficult yesterday as he insisted he should be between me and the rake. He could not get enough attention!

He's very sweet. Still no sign of aggression from him. I wouldn't put my hand in his food dish, but only because he inhales his food and he's liable to take my hand too. I think he's been hungry before. Hopefully once he realizes that food comes every day in sufficent amounts he will settle down about that!

I am in love with Deuce! He is so handsome. Raven is a beauty and they make a great match . There is no doubt in my mind that my girl Tori would absolutely love it at your place. Husky wrestling is her favorite thing to do.

I love all of your dogs. They always make me smile.

Oh yeah, Deuce is winning them all over, one by one. He is a smart boy he knows how to fit in and get the best of everything. I am so happy everything is working out so well.

Deuce is number 22. We haven't officially said he's staying yet, but that does tend to happen with our fosters. I think the only way he'd be leaving is if my father-in-law adopted him. If that were to happen,he'd be here every day anyway since my fil works out of our yard. He's looking for a dog, but he doesn't seem interested in Deuce.

He's got such a great personality that comes through in the pics. I bet he's making life even more interesting around there, as if there is ever a boring day though, LOL. He sure is handsome.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Your photos often make my day!

I will admit, I lurk more these days, than post. But, I always look at your posts - you have such a wonderful way of showing all of us your doggies! I feel as though I live there sometimes. I bet you wish I could contribute to the upkeep and pay some of the dog bills too....nope.....I just get to enjoy your babies and watch them evolve in to lovely, loving furry guys and gals. You and your husband are something very special.
