    9 Yellow Lab Puppies !!!

Tuesday we got an e-mail to come get 9 yellow lab puppies. They are all around 3 or 4 weeks old, apparentaly the mother wouldn't feed them and the owner didn't have time for them because she has kids.

Thankfully we were able to get a great Lab rescue to take them, they are coming tomorrow to get them, but until then I get to take care of them!!!

Here's a few picture of the cuties, I won't bore you all with to many but they are so cute I just had to share some of them!!!

Please don't mind the dirty cage, I was in the process of cleaning it when they all woke up and I decided to take a few pics .

What cuties! They look older than 3-4 weeks to me, maybe 5... All the puppy breath is very addicting! They are lucky little puppers!

You think 5 weeks ?? That's good to know ... we have no idea, the mother had them and the owners didn't know when they had been born (shows how much they pay attention to there pets ) she had gone out to the back yard and found the babies in the dog house. That's where thay stayed until we went and got them, they said they thought they were about 4 weeks. People like them should not own pets, IMO.

Luckly, the babies are fat and healthy. They are all very roly-poly and just as cute as can be. They eat good and are drinking water, now if I could just get them all to poop at the same time so I had to only clean the cage out a few times a day rather then every 10 minutes I would be happy .

Nope, they all got names so we could tell them apart when we posted the up on our website. We put them up there saying that they would be ready in a few weeks, then we found a Lab rescue that offered to take them .

I do my best to ward off the keepem' fairy or I would have a house full !!

Gee, too bad they also didn't have time to get her spayed!

Yup, I'm sure it won't be long before they e-mail us again with another litter of babies ..... they have no intention in having her fixed (we even offered to help out with it) and they also have a beautiful purebred German Shepherd Female that is around 6 or 7 months old. They all run around free out there so I'm sure it won't be long for until we end up with shepherd mix pups

    vinjashira - He's alllll yours ......

And I have no idea what having kids has to do with it, I have 3 of my own plus I also have 2 dogs of my own, a cat, a ferret, and other fosters ..... stupid excuse if you ask me .

One way to tell their age is their teeth. If they are starting to get razor sharp teeth then they are more likely around 5 weeks. That is when mom can start refusing them food because they are hurting her. However, I was alarmed when you said mom stopped feeding them. If the owners are not looking after the puppies, then they probably are not looking after mom either (apparently ). She could have mastitis or be ill herself. Has anyone checked on her?

The pictures are adorable. They remind me of Golden / Lab mix puppies. Because some have the longer hair of a golden. It is sometimes difficult to tell in puppies because some goldens don't get the really fuzzy fur but some do. I hope they all find loving and healthy homes!

They are sooo cute! One day I would love to foster a litter of pups. I would love even more for there to not be any pups that need to be fostered...but I guess that in the direction the world is going, there won't be much of a chance of that.. I can't stand BYBs and people that dump their pups for stupid reasons! They look like they need their nails clipped -- you might want to go out and buy some nail clippers for them.
    I've been BOO'd!
