    Kitty crafts

Remember this bed? Notice the fabrics...

and this one?? again - the fabric....

Well, I turned the scraps into a wreath for the door! Can you find those fabrics in the wreath??

Hard to tell that the fabric has kitties unless they are very tiny - so I added a kitty bow:

Here is something else to make and it only takes about an hour!! Isn't it cute??

That is so cute Debbie! I have tons of scraps from the beds I've made but I think that is way beyond my talents.

    Too cute, and quite imagintative!
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers

I promise that it is so easy I am embarrassed All you have to do it take pinking shears and cut 4 inch squares out of about a yard or 1 1/2 yards of the fabric in colors that you like. Then buy one of those straw wreaths from the craft store - mine was 12 inches. Wrap it in saran wrap - take a phillips screwdriver and poke in the scraps all over the wreath!! Just cover the straw and add more if it does not look full enough. (I looked and there is fabric poked in about every inch or less) You can dress it up with a bow, applique, bling - whatever - and that is all It hangs on a nail or hook just by pushing it on as the straw catches the nail.

You gonna try it?? It takes about an hour. Really!!

A really pretty one is to use Christmas colors and then poke in gold (or whatever) metallic fabric here and there.

Those are really adorable. The kitty beds are cute. Do you make them and sell them? I bet they'd sell like hotcakes.

    Debbie,
That is so cool! And it sounds easy. I bet that would make a great art project for the kids at work!

Gives me an idea . . . to use homespun material so it would look all scrappy & country!

Hmm . . . my wheels are turning . . . thanks Deb for the "inspiration" . . . a good project when I can find the time. I have TONS of scrap homespun material!!!

OK PT'ers, take this ball and get it to rolling and don't forget to post pictures of the results when you make yours!!! (watch out for the snoball effect where a idea just keeps growing and growing... remember, this is a result of the cat bed threads!)
